So I wore my new bikini to the spa w/ a clay mud bath (really bad idea). I didn't put any mud on the suit, but I guess during the outdoror shower rinse-off, the mud stained the bottoms of my suit.
I've tried soaking for days in the regular dteregent in my sink and machine washing. It won't really come out of the bottom (i did get it out of the top).
Anyone have a suggestion to remove the stain or at least so it's not so noticeable? Suit is green.
there is a bar soap called CLARIM...sort of a beige/brown color, and it isn't meant for the body, it is for stain removal and it works great....just rub alittle of soap on the area with water and then rub the area of the stain and keep soaking and voila...
I live in NJ and there are a few international supermarkets around me...spanish and portuguese to be exact and they sell CLARIM in the laundry detergent aisle, but supermarkets usually carry international products now
here is a link that might help!! http://www.sovena.pt/en/marcas/saboes_clarim.html
.... and also...I was just speaking to my aunt about a similar (or not) situation that her neighbor had...
the cable guy came by her house to fix the cable line and walked all over her white carpet with oil on his boots!!!
anyways, my aunt said she called her local mechanic and he told her to go to the local hardware store and ask them for "SPRAY 9" ...so she did and she said it worked! absolutely amazing she said....
maybe that will help....of course I'd experiment with it first...
