It's already 8pm and no one has started this! I took a random trip to Value City because my mom found a cute dress there, and actually found some pretty cute stuff. Sadly I can't find any of these things online, so I just have to make an unfun list

-neon blue lacey slip! I have a strange obsession with neon underwear lately, and even stranger still is the fact that I've been able to find a lot of it

-white top. Nothing too exciting, but I've been on the hunt for a white top that fits well and can go from casual to dressy. I found it! It's silky, has cap sleeves and a wrap-type neckline.

-a top that I guess kind of looks like a kimono top. It has a loop button at the top of the neckline (which I don't like buttoned) and short sleeves, but it does have the thick black bands on the neckline and a thick black tie under the bust. Best of all, the neckline is sewed together far up enough that little to no cleavage shows and I don't have to worry about the sluttiness factor that has been a problem with all other kimono tops I've found. Wheee!

-silver ball necklace

-grey knee-length shorts with pink and blue pinstripes

All for under $50!

I've also got a Bloomie's SA trying to get me this DVF dress for $117. He has to go through corporate, because it wasn't marked down despite the fact that it's been in stores since January. He's investigating, and I'm crossing my fingers, because it's a friggin' awesome dress on me. biggrin

I bought 2 pairs of bootleg jeans from the SJP Bitten line. They are majorly comfy and flattering and only $15 a pop. I must say the ad campaign really rubs me the wrong way. I think the "fashion isn't a luxury, it's a right" is really obnoxious.

I actually was happy w/ how big the windows are in it.  The front and back passenger windows are HUGE!!!!  I'm used to a Suburban w/ lots of blind spots, too, though.
