What's an acceptable time frame for payment?  I screwed up and didn't post expectations in my listing and now I'm waiting for the buyer to pay.  The auction ended on the 2nd, I sent an invoice the morning of the third, sent her another reminder yesterday, and I still haven't heard from her.  How long should I give her?  Her feedback is 100% positive with over 200 transactions so I'm not that concerned yet, but I'm tired of waiting.

a week after the auction you can file a non-paying bidder. i HATE slow payers and i just feel like saying "if you don't have the cash, don't bid!"

i've given people longer just because i don't feel like relisting, though.

Ugh, I hate them. I always make the payment period of mine 72 hours, even though I really wish I could make it 24. I'd say wait a week, too. Did you email her regularly or send her an Ebay message?

Acceptable is within 72 hours in my book. A week is the cutoff point for me before I'd get really ticked. What I hate is when they pay with paypal via e-check which takes like a week to clear.

I sent her an ebay message.  I'm sending another one tomorrow, and if I don't have payment by Tuesday I'm doing non paying bidder.  That will give her 10 days - way more than enough time.

I agree that it should take no more than 72 hours for someone to pay, but I usually pay the next day so i get pissed when I have to wait for others.
