both my dogs are rescues, so I don't know for sure. I am sure he's not pure Husky, though, since he is so tall and skinny. (He's only about 50 lbs.) We originally thought Husky/German Shepherd, but he's taller and lighter than GSDs too. The vet thinks he may have a quarter or less coyote in him, but he's taller than coyotes too, so it has to be more than that. His personality is more Husky than anything else, but he has some coydog traits too. He's just a big ol' mutt!

zeitgeist - every time I see pics of Pearl, she reminds me of Halley for some reason. I think it's the expressions.

Oh Halleybird, I think I figured out what Sully is mixed with!! A Carolina dog. I was looking in a puppy magazine and there was a picture of one that looked exactly like sully, except tan.

Mandy- Are Madison and Winston King Charles Cavalier Spaniels? My BF's sister has one that looks just like Madison (kiss of Buddha, freckles, and all).

All these pics are making me jealous. I can't wait to get a pup! When we move, we're planning on getting a pet friendly apt. so we can get a dog.

oh wow! He does look similar. The posture and expression look very familiar. Good guess brazilian!

ETA: I just looked up some of the traits of a Carolina Dog... they fit Sully almost to a 't' (shyness, pack mentality, 'primitive' behavior, etc.). He may not be coyote at all!
