Hi girls, I have an interview for a luxury men's fashion corporate office.. I would definitely like to wear a suit, but I want to look as stylish as possible.. any suggestions?
if you do a suit i would accessorize with a great bag and killer shoes.
should you opt for something other than a suit another suggestion would be a black button down and black pants. it looks really sharp when you tuck the shirt in and pair it with a great belt (i used a gray patent leather belt). i used this look for an interview with a luxury women's boutique and got the job so i'm thinking it worked.
another option is to do striped pants and a striped button down. i like this look b/c it's crisp, and professional, but the mixed stripes add a fashiony touch.
either way i would definitely go with a great bag and great shoes. while i'm not necessarily a believer in a bag makes the outfit, i think in these situations it can convey a knowledge of fashion without being too in-your-face. hth!
I would do a blouse/button-up with some detail under the suit. Examples: And some fab shoes and accessories. But really the details depend upon whether this company is more conservative or a little more hip. Good luck!
I would add a punch or color, detail, in beautiful (expensive) fabric for your blouse under the suit, a wide patent belt over the jacket, interesting, but professional bag, and closed toe pumps (with detail, perhaps, but you want them to focus on you and not your outfit, so I would focus on the pretty blouse under your jacket and the belt - the most detail I would go with with the shoes is perhaps a platform -- you will want communicate you are current on trends since it's a buyer position (I'm guessing))
I would focus on quality, detail, and trend.
