I know it will be some time before Fall, but what do you girls think of this dress? It's 3.1 Phillip Lim from the Fall '07 collection.

I tried on the white 3/4 sleeve from the spring on IRL and really liked it but couldn't swallow the price tag. This one costs the same but navy seems loads more practical. I wish this was a 3/4 sleeved dress but I was thinking of wearing it like a jumper as well. I just lead such a casual lifestyle now that when I buy things I want to be sure I can dress them down.

I think it's very you, and would suit your lifestyle just fine. I loved the look of the white one too, but neither of those is really my style. I hope you get it! I think you'll look great in it.

Love the dress, love Philip Lim. I may love the version Lynnie posted even more though, since I do think that sleeves would be nice to have.

lynnie: I really really liked the black. If I saw it IRL I'd probably get that one, but I've only ever spotted the white. I saw that auction, but I need an M. cry

I'll let you ladies know if I get it...it would be one of my most expensive purchases, but I can't stop thinking about it.
