Help me choose a location please!

Location A:
Modern and lovely, but somewhat standard ballroom and hotel (although an upscale "brand"). Very pretty outdoor garden for ceremony. Would be the only wedding at that hotel that day.

Location B
Also an upscale brand, but very ornate, old-world feel with beautifully decorated, very lavish ballrooms. No outdoor or indoor site for ceremony, so ceremony would have to be in ballroom (people seated at their reception tables, wedding ceremony taking place at stage in front of ballroom). Multiple weddings happening at that hotel that evening in different ballrooms.

Assume everything else is the same (cost, location, etc.) What would you choose?

A....I like the idea of lavish ballrooms, but all of the other elements seem painfully impracticle. Plus I love when there's a garden

A - we went to a wedding once at a venue that had other weddings going on, and it really detracted from the special-ness of everything, kind of like a wedding factory. The lack of a different space for the ceremony would be a negative factor for me as well.

Also, if you are the only wedding, you will get better service and attention from the staff. I love the outdoor garden idea too!

Another vote for location A.  I went to a wedding once where there was another reception going on in a ballroom next door and it was very distracting/weird. There were people from the other wedding being loud and running around everywhere.

Def A!  A wedding makes any environment special as long as you have people there to take care of things and a smart decorating plan.  I worry that the other place could be short-staffed or noisy.
