this is possibly the result of fatigue-induced haze, but I keep looking at these sandals. They're going for $50 on ebay. I like them, and I especially like the fact that once you subtract the platform the heel is actually not all that bad, but feel like they might look a little cheap. Help!

They're OK...they kinda have the Chloe feel to them, which I like. I'm just not sure they're worth $50..they're worn, right?

kitty, they're actually new (I think the leather just has a slight "distressed" finish to it), so it's a really good deal--via spiga shoes are usually like $150. They sort of have the vibe of these LR's which I love, but which look incredibly uncomfortable with that wooden platform:

I like them, and I'm crossing my fingers that they're comfy. I had a pair of BCBGirls sandals kind of like those years ago and I wore them to pieces.

i like them, but am i crazy or do i remember you actually buying LR shoes very similar to these? i would personally hold out for the chloe pair (which i've seen semi-cheapish on ebay) or dolce vita makes these:
