As you know, I'm doing the Vegas thing & don't want to pack anything too heavy. However, since we're only having 15 adults and 4 kids, I'm in need of some ideas for wedding favors. The kids will get goody bags, but I wanted something different, yet practical for the adults. Since FH is a chef, we thought about giving each adult some type of kitchen item such as a spatula, whisk, bottle opener, etc.
I'm drawing a blank right now, and am open to suggestions. TIA!
I like the idea of a corkscrew and a bottle of wine, perhaps. You could either pick up the wine there, or you could include a gift certificate to an on-line wine store... or just the corkscrew would be nice...

Collette did scratch off lotto tickets and I think that is a superb idea for a Vegas wedding. If memory serves she put them in cute clear envelopes with personalized stickers that said, "Lucky in Love".

This may be goofy, but my family is full of huge animal lovers, so when my sister, halleybird got married, instead of doing favors she donated money to the ASPCA or Humane Society and made up cards that told guests that a donation had been made in their name.... just a thought since I am not sure many of us actually use the favors we recieve
If you have time, you could burn CDs for everyone with love songs from "Vegas" performers...Sinatra, Elvis, Wayne Newton...even Celine and Elton now! Not expensive or too big to bring along...
I think the lotto idea is a great one if you have time! But I also agree with emery's suggestion about a charitable donation since a lot of times the favors aren't ever used.
