To keep it spring, I wear wintery warmth in spring colors. I try to stay away from dark colors and heavy looking materials. Sometimes I'll suffer through a little cold though to wear my new spring items. A few days ago I just had to wear my new sandals and it was only like 40 degrees outside. Not like I was going hang around outdoors! I also had to wear a pretty spaghetti strap dress, but wore a t-shirt and jeans underneath.
I love wearing white cords with a bold color on top in early Spring. Scarves in non-wooly, lighter fabrics are also great.
We truly have 4 seasons in Seattle, so creative layering is a requirement! 3-4 light layers isn't unusual for me. There are a few weeks each year when it's not too late for cords and not too early for flip flops... I quite enjoy this brief period of fashion schizophrenia. :)
