we registered at Crate & Barrel on Sunday. They have a thing called Sunday Morning Engagements where couples can come in early before the store opens and register while drinking mimosas and eating fruit and waffles and all kinds of goodies!
it is possible that the scan gun and the mimosas could have possibly been a lethal combo considering i registered for a $300 wine cabinet, but hey! its my wedding and someone might just get it for me right???
we thought we would have time to go to Macy's too but I had to leave for a flight at 12:30 and we didn't. we're going to go back in a couple of weeks and tackle that one with one of our moms or my sister. we are hopelessly lost on cookware and bakeware and thats what we're registering for at macys. we definitely need some guidance from an older and wiser person in that department!!

That sounds so lovely! FH and I would be there in a NY minute for that if we had a C&B around here! Do you know if any other places do something similar?
I highly recommend this book for anyone that's registering for a lot of cookware:
TONS of tips for what pieces are critical, which ones to avoid, and what features to look for. I wish I had a copy when I was getting married... I would have chosen different pots and pans...

Hehe, that's definitely a lethal combination, but it's good stragedy on C&B's part!

bex, one of my friends just did that the other week, and they had a really good time...
