i have a few pairs of high-end jeans i want to unload, and i'm wondering when's the best time to have auctions end. i've been told that the weekends are the best time, but when? you also have to factor in the different time zones. i'm confusing myself.

what's your general rule?

I've never actually considered this before. I always just start auctions up whenever I get around to it...which I guess means that most of my auctions end in the wee hours of the morning!

Saturday and Sunday are usually the best days for bidding for me, since I can schedule around the bid time.

Also, more people browse on the weekend so there is increased bidding competition.

I prefer in the evening after work.  Ebay is blocked at work and on weekends I am running around and forget that I wanted to bid on something.  I definitely prefer it when it ends anywhere from 6pm-10pm.

My dh did a bunch of research on this a while ago.  He found that the prevalent theory is that Sunday afternoon/evening is the best time.  Also, keep in mind time change and try to shoot for a time when must of you bidders will be awake.
