The biggest age difference of an actual BF was 3 years older. I have always been more successful with guys that are younger then me though. When I was a senior in college I had a little freshman boy wrapped around my finger...boy that was fun and he was such a babe!! HAHAHAHA!!
Current BF is one year younger.

I think 17 years? But in a real relationship...6 years apart. But looking back the 6 years apart were too much (I was only 17). If it were now, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but I think that I'm over dating older men. I'd like to date someone within 5 years of my age.
FYI, my parents are 12 years apart, and have been married 26 years now.
My current bf is 7 years older than me, which is a constant source of amusement for me. Not so much for him because he's old but for me? yeah.
I've dated guys younger and older (max 12-13 years older - min 1-2 years younger) and I don't think it matters. I think it only matters if you match up, maturity-wise.
I have never really dated anyone older than me. In high school (does that even count?) I dated a 15-year-old when I was 17 but he was more mature than most guys my age. After him I briefly dated a 21-year-old and I was so intimidated by the fact that he didn't have a curfew like me and could go out to bars and clubs. Any other guy I have dated has been right around my age.

LOL I was 17 when I first went away to college, so for the first time in my life I didn't have a curfew. My boyfriend freshman year was 21, but he still lived at home so he did have a curfew and he thought I was crazy for staying out really late because he liked to just be home early. Sounds like we should've switched boyfriends!

Wow, you were young when you started college! See, I turned 17 the fall of my junior year in high school. I was trapped
I always date older simply because older guys are usually more stable, mature, and appreciative of me than guys my age or younger. One of my serious ex's was 10 years older than me but I once dated a guy for a few months who was 15 years older. His oldest son was closer to my age than he was and that sort of weirded me out.

I just started dating a guy who is 15 years older than me. before I've dated guys maybe 5 years older than me max. The age really doesn't bother me or come into play, we get along so well.
i'm 20 and my bf of 2 years is 8 years older than me. i kind of wish we were more similar in ages, but i think that him being a bit older means we get along better
