Job-wise, right now I do clinical research on gestational diabetes at a local hospital. It's awesome...doing blood draws and measuring preggo's bellies all day long! Plus, it's a NIH-study so it looks super impressive on a resume.
School-wise, right now I am also in school. I'm doing my masters in public health with a concentration in health management and policy. I will more than likely end up in policy and research somewhere on the West Coast working on baby-friendly measures like breastfeeding, prenatal care, and midwifery. I'll finish in June, work for the next five/six years here in Philly while BF starts and finishes his Ph.D.(just found out officially yesterday!!) then off to Oregon most likely. While in Oregon I will start doula training and then around 40 or so I will start my Ph.D., possibly earlier than that.

My first degree was in Management Information Systems or Computer Information Systems. I was a tech support analyst for a salon software company and after 1 week there I knew it was not for me. So after working there for 4 months (until the spring semester would start) I went back to school to get my MS in Accounting.
So now I'm an auditor in accounting boot camp counting down the busy seasons until I can jump into industry as a Financial Reporting Manager or SEC Reporting Manager. I would love to write the 10Ks and 10Qs. Hopefully it will only be 2-3 more busy seasons after this one and I can jump!

My undergrad was a BA in intercultural communication, when I was looking for cultural studies programs for my Masters, I could not find any. I was wondering what schools you were looking at?
