emptying space on my hard drive?

Have you defragmented your hard drive recently? That might help some. I usually just enter 'defragment' in the search function of the start menu to find it.

You should definitely defragment, but after that you should move files off your computer hard drive and onto a disk or a flash drive. If you have a lot of pictures and audio files, you may want to consider an external hard drive to store them. You could also buy more ram for your computer if all else fails.

you could do a disk cleanup as well. for PCs, you can access that by clicking on the start button --> programs --> accessories --> system tools --> disk cleanup. you'd be surprised how much of your hard drive is cluttered with temporary internet files and whatnot.
