We are in the process of redecorating our whole house and painting it as well. They will be starting on my room tomorrow and will probably start painting it in 2 days. I need help on deciding what color to paint my room. I was thinking of a yellow. And my aunt gave me the idea of painting a dark, bright yellow on two walls. Which would be the wall where my bed is at and the closet.

in the yellows, I like forsynthia (sp) and kingdom gold. They're a little more mustardy which makes them feel richer and more mature, but still bright and fun. I think I would tired of them less than a brighter yellow.

In the yellow shades I like Nasturtium,Lemon twist,confidant yellow.


My kitchen is painted a color similar to the confidant yellow,and I love it.My kitchen has no windows so it brightens the room up alot and makes it feel more cheerful.


Are you going to leave the other walls white? Or paint them a diffrent color to go with the yellow?

I decided to go with a kind of light/ meduim dark yellow for all of the walls instead. And the cieling will be a pearly white. My dad also decided to put crown molding in all the rooms so hopefully everything will look just fine. I'll make sure to take pictures to show you girls.
