Under no circumstances will I eat tomato, onion, brocolli, or cauliflower. GRRRRROOSSSSSS! I especially hate tomato. I swear my body rejects the texture. A tomato hits the back of my throat and I will immediately throw up. I actually don't mind the flavor, in fact tomato soup is one of my faves, I just don't do chunks.
A lot of my friends consider me picky because of the tomato and onion. Those two things are just so prevalent in the way people cook.
That is hilarious! I refuse to eat tomatoes. I can't even smell them or I'll feel like throwing up. I blame my dad for that one.
When I was little and still eating meat, my dad and I were at Wendy's eating hamburgers. I pulled the tomato out and he yelled at me to eat it and that we weren't leaving the restaurant until I did. I took a bite and started gagging. It was the nastiest thing ever. Just like you though, I will eat tomato soup but nothing with chunks of tomato.
I also won't eat mayo, poultry, seafood, meat, pumpkin pie, and I can only have milk with cereal otherwise it's gross to me (I only eat the cereal and then dump out the remaining milk). I'm ok with scrambled eggs but hardboiled eggs I won't eat.
Another one is Jello, yuck!

I am not really a picky eater. The only thing that really makes me gag is fat/gristle on meat and sausage casing. The sausage meat is fine- I just can't eat the casing.
Also I don't eat game meat. Once my uncle when hunting and brought us some deer meat- only he hadn't cleaned it properly so it was covered in chunks of fur, twigs and grass. Gross. It put me off game forever.
i'm an extremely picky eater. i am no longer vegetarian, but i prefer not to eat meat. (as it is, i really only eat chicken) i hate seafood. i also detest most condiments. (ESP ketchup)
going to restaurants used to be a lot trickier (i slid a path from vegan, to veggie, to now) but it's still annoying sometimes, esp since a lot of upscale restaurants around here don't usually have chicken or a *good* veg item on the menu. my husband says "chicken is peasant food."
Not at all... the only thing I am not fond of -- beets. I won't eat them, but I will eat everything else (I literally mean everything). Since I travel a lot to far away places for work, my lack of pickiness in the food department has been a real bonus.
I'm a picky eater, but I call myself a "boring eater"
I wont eat:
vegetables
anything with a lot of veggies mixed in that I cant easily pick out
cheesecake & pie
BBQ sauce
anything with fruit mixed w/something else. I can only eat it by itself or another fruit (ie: pizza w/pineapple, mango chicken, cottage cheese and fruit, strawberry ic)
mayo and seafood mixed together
watermelon (I know, I dont know why)
beer
A bunch of other ethnic foods from my parents' countries that I should like since I was raised with the foods. Lets just say all I ate until I was 18 were rice and beans cuz I didnt like everything else.
