This is so disturbing...there's a website called bumfights.com, where you can buy DVDs showing homeless people being assaulted, bound and gagged, or actually being paid to fight each other. It's starting a whole trend in the teenage crowd, who are trying to emulate the DVDs they saw or the footage from the website.

Even watching the short footage they show on the video with the creator has me reeling...I couldn't bear to delve into the website

This has been going on for a while now. It's just sickening it really is. Homelss or not they are people, human beings desparate for money. It's disgusting that people will take advantage of that.

ITA. I often volunteer with homless people and there is a level of desperation and sadness that is beyond compare. The people who are supporting these DVDs should feel so very ashamed of themselves.
