Is anyone else going to see Dreamgirls?

I've seen some clips of the film and soundtrack on youtube. It usually takes the jaws-of-life to get me out of the house and into a sticky, smelly theater to see a film... but this one seems worth it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the scene attached to "And I am telling you I'm not going", Jennifer Hudson tears into it.

And I am telling you I'm not going

Trailer

So, is anyone else going?

I'm really excited about this movie...i've heard the music is amazing...I just hope it comes to my town! (small town, 4 screen theatre)...

I'm going to really try to go.  Don't know how anyone can belt out "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" as well as Jennifer Holliday, but it should be a fun movie!

Check this out...  She gives me the chills.  She starts singing the song half way through the video and it brings down the house at the Tony awards. Remember when she guest starred on Ally McBeal?  A whole lot lighter now, btw.

I definitely want to see this. I haven't seen the play, but I am a sucker for big, belt-it-out song numbers like "And I am telling I'm not going."
