I second Aveda tea. The loose tea is a little strong for me, but I love the ones in the teabags.

I really love my yogi chai tea. It's the kind with the yogi on the side of the box and is weird and earthy...but I've tried so many chais and love it the best - except for the kind my friend gave to me that was from India and it was AMAZING...but sadly I drank it and didn't save label to buy it again!

kittenheels: when you make the yogi chai, is it simply just a cup of tea? or can you turn it into a chai latte? i'm sort of, reallly, uncontrollably in love with chai latte, but i'm not crazy about not being able to control the amount of sugar in the just-add-milk varieties. (although oregon chai makes a "slightly sweet" version which i like) i'd love to make my own though.

ohh, these are good to know! I'm always on the lookout for yummy new teas... and I'm in a weird vanilla-loving mood lately, so they should really hit the spot

These all sound great! Sfclinevandy, I think I'm going to try your recommendation first. Maybe it'll fool me into satisfying my sweet tooth so I can stay away from all the office treats...

The tea is normal black tea, but you can make a chai latte really easily. Just make your tea, heat some milk and froth it (I use a plain old manual frother) and sweeten to your taste. I tend to prefer chai that's not sweet - Starbucks/Coffee Bean/Peets make chai too sweet for me. I've done this with all sort of chai and it works well.

My favorites (but difficult to get) are from L'Epicier, Tokyo (they only sell them in Japan, UK, aand Australia I think - and 1 location in Oahu) soooo many lovely teas - I stock up when I can get to Hawaii!

For my local and not so hoarded fave - I like the Swedish berries tea from Coffe Bean (in iced tea version)

I can't find the sugar cookie one anywhere, but last time I was in the tea aisle, I noticed CS has a new "dessert tea" line... I got the vanilla hazelnut and its really good with a splash of milk. Definately satisfys a sweets craving. I don't think they're seasonal either.
