Honestly, I'm growing it out because I've been to lazy to get it cut. I haven't gone to my stylist since February! It's been growing out nicely tho. After the holiday money suck, I'm going to go in to have additional layers added in.
Well, I got my hair cut 2 months or so ago to collarbone length after letting it grow down to my shoulder blades for a year and a half for the wedding. The haircut was (is) actually a really bad one, but I did it in the middle of all the house-buying craziness and just never went back to have her fix it. So I've worn my hair exclusively in a ponytail for the last 8 weeks .
So, um, I will be going shorter as soon as I get my ass in gear!

I had this grand plan to grow it out, so when I went to my stlist about a few months ago and announced that, she just trimmed it up a little, polished up my layers, and made the ends more blunt than they were before, to help it grow out more gracefully.
But I realized that I actually love that haircut! So for now, I'm keeping it as is.
At Thanksgiving I saw my cousin who had really cute swoopy bangs, and I almost did that, but I've done that before and it annoys the crap out of me, so I'm going to think a little more about that before I do it. I've started quite a collection of thick headbands, though, so maybe it wouldn't be so bad this time around...
ETA: Right now, it's just above my shoulders....like right where my neck starts to become my shoulder

I have fine hair, so I ALWAYS kept it shoulder length or a little higher. (Can't go too short because I have a high forehead). Also, I have a long face, so I thought length would drag me down But i grew it out last year just to see, and I LOVE it. It is much more manageable, takes less time, doesn't look awful two hours later, and it's fun to flip around. I'm keeping it at my bra or longer now.
Mine hits my botton rib, I have layers and i'm growing it out. I'd love to give bangs a spin, but I have two cowlicks, so they probably wouldn't fly. Hmmmm
im always trying to grow it out but since i have natural curls, i have to straighten my hair everyday (you want what you cant have) so it gets damaged pretty easily and i end up just maintaining with routine trims to keep my hair healthy.
odd ball hereI am maintaining my short hair, its about chin length with layers and I really love it. I use to have it super long (middle of my back) but decide to go shorter. I thought about growing it out but I cant stand the growing out phase
Well I let my hair grow really long ( too long actually ) and I just cut it to about 3 inches past my shoulders, which I love. I think I was a tad to obessessed with having long long hair and it was starting to look unhealthy. I love the lenght now, so I have decieded to maintan it.
Going to get another perm after my sister's wedding december 16th. I had one a couple of years ago and loved it. My hair's about an inch or two past my shoulders.

i am growing my hair out. i've been growing it out from a pixie cut for a little over two years now, and it is just at the bottom of my shoulder blades. i got it cut on weds (just a dusting) to add some layers and body, and i really like it..but i am just growing it out long enough for locks of love. (my stylist said i have 2-3 more inches to go)
I just had about 10 inches chopped off, and I love it! I'd had the same hairstyle forever (long, straight with one layer around my face) and I finally decided I needed a change. Now my hair is about chin length in the front and about an inch below my shoulders in the back. I think I'm going to keep it this way for a while.
