In the process of renovating our master bath, we've really messed up the carpet in our master bedroom. I want to eventually replace the carpet, but since that won't happen for a little while, what's a good product I can use to get rid of some of the spots? Any good recs?
I use Folex on spots. I have used OxyClean as well, but it bleaches a little if you're not careful. It works, though. The guy who cleans my carpets recommended "anything but Resolve".
Goo Gone will get rid of paint on the carpet if that's the kind of mess you made. I usually use Resolve for spots. It works OK but not great. There was also a product I found at Target that you just spray on and the spot disappears. It was a very straight-forward name like "Spot B Gone" or something. It was on the very top shelf.
i highly recommend folex. (as cricket already suggested) it is simply amazing. i've cleaned up everything from red wine to paint drips to blood spots with it. you can get it at target and they also sell it at home depot. it's a white spray bottle with purple lettering.
spot shot is the best! It got out my dogs poopie when he had the runs and decided to crap all over our new carpet.
LOL - I have totally been there! We used it when Vinny puked all over the house one night. They are lucky that we are so crazy about them or we would be pissed about the carpet, huh! HA!
