Who else thinks he made the wrong decision? I really wanted him to choose Sadie. She took the rejection so maturely and dignified.

Damn it - I don't know why I opened this - I am not finished watching yet....but.....here are my thoughts on the whole process...

* Why in the WORLD would he ask both fathers for their daughters hand in marriage? He should have picked & asked the appropriate one if he was really being sincere. Instead it just looks like a ploy for the cameras.
* If his Dad speaks Italian, wouldn't he pick up a little Italian just by being around him? I know for myself, I have some friends that speak other lanuages & I have picked up a little just being around them periodically. Lorenzo has come across this whole time like he speaks NO italian & I believe him.
* Ok, it was strange enough for his Mom to do the palm reading....I can accept that though because my MIL is a little "new age" too. But how weird was it that she then told Sadie what Jen's said? And when her birthday was? And how alike they were. Ick.

ETA: Totally the wrong decision. I was really sick of Sadie playing the virgin card, but she still looked like more fun to me. Which is the kiss of death since NOT ONE person on this show has picked who I thought they should. I hated how he kept pulling dialogue out of her - just let her go already, seriously dude! She was totally classy about it & she deserves better than that tool in prince clothing. And she looked like a godess in that dress.

Editted again to add: Bleech. That was the most awkward kiss I've ever seen in my life!

I totally agree.  I was super pissed when he told sadie there was another girl he'd rather be with than her.  What a jackass!  I turned it off once she got in the limo and said what she had to say.  I thought she and her family were just so great and loving.  Very warm and friendly.  Just a great family.  I can't say the same for Jen's. They just seemed very standoffish and immature.  I can't believe he would want to deal with her dad but then again I don't think he was in this to get married and I won't be surprised if in a month or two their engagement is over.  His mom was smart in designing a "family" ring instead of giving him one to give to Jen.  His mom is not a dumb woman.

yup - just who I thought he was going to pick. I have learned through the years that they edit it to lead you to believe that he will pick the one he doesn't pick. Since the show made it seem so obvious that he was going to pick Sadie, I knew he was going to pick Jen.

that whole brunch thing was bizarre and pointless, unless it was done to increase ratings or something

I liked Sadie better than Jen, at least based on how the show was edited.  I predict that Sadie will become the first virgin bachelorette...

Heard on the news this morning that Prince Tool and Jen already have broken up.

Really? They are on Regis & Kelly right now. I'll pay extra close attention.

I heard that also and that he's been seen around NYC with another girl.  Not surprised.

I thought both girls were sweet and a little ditzy. I found Sadie a little immature, but I agree that she deserves better. His rejection line was horrrrid. And I am sick of the "Friendship ring" line. If you're not going to get engaged, then don't. I hate how the winner gets a consolation prize of the ring. But kudos to Princess Amanda for not giving him a real family heirloom.

Also, I agree that he's a total tool. I got sick of the Prince/Princess crap, too. And you know what? If I was the heir to one of Italy's most legendary families, and my father spoke fluent Italian, I sure as h*ll would be able to speak the language.  I liked the Italian girl -- Agnese?-- he sent home. And IMO, her English wasn't any worse than his dad's.

This show is a trainwreck, but does anyone else think Sadie would make a great bachelorette?
