I need all new bedding.  The bed I have now is not comfortable at all.  I think the mattress is okay but I need to fluff up the bedding a bit.  I am searching for your recommendations for the following:


Pillows-can't be feather or down because I'm allergic.


Mattress pillowtop-Do they make these in synthetic fabrics?  Where is the best place to buy these? 


Bedspread or duvet-Again, it has to be synthetic.  I have an Ikea king-sized duvet that I have been using so I could do a new duvet cover for it or I would be open to starting from scratch and just buying a new bedspread.  I need something that goes with dark khaki walls (but I am drawn to brighter colors-lime, raspberry, aqua, yellow, etc.)...


Sheets-I love the Frette ones they have in hotels-any idea where to get these cheap?  Or cheaper???  Otherwise, I would love to hear about your favorite brands of sheets.


 


Of course, I would love to find deals on all of this stuff too (it adds up!) so any ideas on where to find bedding bargains is appreciated too!

I have a friend who is allergic to down, so I bought a couple of pillows and a comfortor in their non-down and she thought it was great. I have tons of their down items and could not be happier.
