Has anyone seen Casino Royale? If not you need to run, not walk, to the theatre and see it. SO SO good, and I'm not even a Bond fan. And Daniel Craig? Smokin! He's seriously foxy, and his eyes are freakin amazing! Just wanted to recommend this movie to those of you who haven't seen it!

I second that!  It was actually a good movie with more plot and less cheesy one-liners.  And whoo... those are some beautiful blue eyes he's got!

So it was a good movie I hear...but was it a good BOND movie? Action movies are ok, but I love James Bond...so what do you think...good action movie or good James Bond movie? Lol does that even make sense...?

Great movie and to answer your question, fairywings, great BOND movie!

I have enjoyed the past Bond movies but none of them really got me excited about James Bond like this one has.  I feel it has a lot more substance than any of the others.  I was very weary of Craig's Bond portrayal but he really made the character his own.  I am really excited for his next one!

I'm gonna disagree with jacL.  I thought it was a good movie, but not as great of a James Bond movie.  My dad is a huge James Bond and owns them all so I have grown up watching them.  I know that this is the first one in the series so a lot of things they cover are so that you understand what happens in the rest of the series.  But, I didn't feel it was a typical James Bond.  Since this was his first time being a 007, I know he isn't going to be the all great Bond he has been, but I still expected him to be a little more smooth than he was.  I felt that he got "beat" a lot.  Could just be me though.  =)

That is funny you felt this way because my BF has watched all the movies since he was tiny and has read all the books and totally loved this one!  As for me, not being a true fan, this was the first one that truly interested me.

I totally agree. I don't usually care for James Bond (especially the last few with Peirce Brosnan and all the silly gagdets and stuff- bleh!) and I LOVED it. Daniel Craig was great, I felt like because he was supposed to be a "new" double 00 he didn't have to be as smooth, like he was still getting the hang of it. It was a great movie, imo. The only thing I didn't like was I wasn't crazy about his Bond girl, I though she was bit dull.

I agree with Metric. I think he wasn't as smooth because this was his first foray into being a Bond. The lack of smoothness was probably intentional.

Ok, I haven't seen the movie yet, but I've seen the commerical for it. That little scene when he's walking in the ocean in his swim shorts.....oh. my. gawd.
