I loved looking at SB's and D's houses and I was wondering if the rest of you could post some pictures too. I need ideas/inspiration for my apartment next year and I love seeing what you guys decorate with.

Okay, mine's not very exciting because 1)I'm not totally done with some of the decorating, and 2)I live in an apartment, so I can't do anything fun like paint the walls, etc....
WARNING: A lot of pics!
Bathroom:
Bedroom:
Kitchen:
Living Room:
And this is what I'm still going to do to the living room, behind the couch, with fabric panels:
My house is nothing special, but we've done some decorating since I last posted pics. Sorry, the camera lens has spots. And my dogs (obviously) like to be in front of the camera
entry/lr/dr - got rid of ugly curtains and will be getting plantation shutters soon!
family room/kitchen:
den (recently repainted & rearranged):
master BR: nothing much new, but I need to do something else above the bed:
guest BR: (recently repainted)
some new stuff for my guest (dog-themed) bath:

Okay here's mine. A lot of you probably have seen most of the rooms as I have fixed them up, but here they are again.
Foyer:
Living room:
Dining room & Family room: The oak dining furniture is totally not my style. I want the dark brown set as seen in the recent home and garden post of wants for the house.
Kitchen: Okay, here is the picture with the valance up. I also put a Christmasy swag over it and have a centerpiece on the island.
"D": The new kitchen is taking it's time! It's going to be expensive so it will have to wait until the right time to sell our other property. I'd rather wait to get it done right than do it on the cheap.
Guest bedroom: It's getting there. I can't wait to find artwork for the walls. I also plan for a white headboard, white chest at the end of the bed, white dresser, and a white shelf to display decor.
Guest bathroom: It's my palm tree theme. Love it.
Master bedroom: I don't like the paint color or bedding. And I have no furniture yet...It's day will come.
Master bathroom: It's so outdated, I cannot wait for a remodel.
When you walk in our front door, we have a large, open space that encompasses the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Here's the kitchen:
other side of kitchen: we did the corrugated metal ceiling, lighting, shelves, countertop, oven and cooktop when we moved in. it still needs some work -- a backsplash, cabinets, fridge and dishwasher. guest bath -- off kitchen. the walls are a dark charcoal: View of kitchen from living room: living room from kitchen: east wall -- we have a weird collection of furniture that all needs some kind of refinishing/repair. a lot of it has come from thrift type stores and was really cheap -- but it works for now.
floors are cork, BTW.
west living room/dining area:
i still have to do our guest bedroom, master bedroom, and master bath.
Okay, here are a few pictures of the new house. Keep in mind these areas haven't been painted yet and some don't have curtains up. I'll keep adding as I get more done.
To start w/, here's the front of the house as it looks for now:
My cool new dining room chandelier with my newly-painted dining room:
View from the dining room into the kitchen eating area. The chandelier is new. Will be painting this room a green color:
View of one side of family room. I went w/ a light terra-cotta color so that the curtains would stand out more. Still looking for something for the little corbel shelves:
View of the shelves behind the sectional. I LOVE my new peacock painting!!!
And the new TV armoire:
And 2 of the 3 sides of the firplace w/ the stockings up. I've started painting the stone on this side, too. Will also do the front side and then will replace the tile around the fireplace:
Curtains in daughter's room. Will be painting her room pink at some point: The curtains are pink sheers w/ black squiggles and pink velvet drapes. The sculpture in the middle is actually 3-D.
One of the walls in oldest son's room. He wants dark blue walls:
The youngest son's room just got painted: I'll get more vintage tin signs for the wall
View into master bedroom from doorway:
The area above the small closet in the master bedroom:
Master tub. Will paint at least a few of the tall walls:
Downstairs half bath. Couldn't decide on a color, so I picked two!:
Front living room got my old family room furniture. The paint isn't what it was supposed to be, but I liked it:
carrie - cute bachelorette pad! it's interesting how you hung the pictures and leaves close to the ceiling in the bathroom - I've never seen that done before.
halleybird - what a cute place! and it totally looks like you! simply classic, elegant, and whimsical.
kaykay - I've seen your pics before, and again, you've done a nice job of making a cozy home.
courtney - where's the new kitchen?
ejc423 - I can see why you loved that bedroom - it looks like a great place to curl up and read a book in on a sunny afternoon.
e doli - what a fun place! fun color combos and great retro pieces.
missmee - you place is coming together beautifully! love the dining room fixture.
alliegurl - love the window treatment fabric as well as your color choices! looks comfy!

Everyone's house is great! I have no decorating sense about me and I hate to spend money on anything but clothes and shoes so I won't be posting pictures :P
Alligurl, your kitchen is perfection!
And your kitty is too cute!
And EJC, that room was adorable...as well as the kitty on the bed :)
Plus I love that old window with the window box, what a cool way to use it!
