What part of Thanksgiving dinner is your favorite?
Although I pretty much like all of it, the homemade bread rolls my aunt makes are my favorite part. They're flakey, buttery, and oh so yummy. As a kid they were my favorite part too, so they carry some sentimental value as well.

LOL...that is exactly what I was going to say. Everything is better w/ gravy.
I'll pick another one...As a kid I liked to put black olives on the tips of my fingers as soon as I sat at the table. The olives are still one of my faves.
Stuffing is my fav, especially if it is made with alot of herbs in it.
Although if I end up spending thanksgiving with my bf's family the mashed potatos might just end up being my favorite thing htis year.He makes them with sourcream and rosemary. OMG they are so good.

Corn. No - wait, mashed potatoes. No - wait, corn. No - wait, mashed potatoes...
Ahem. My *absolute* favorite thing to do is mix them both together. Perfection!
DH is not a fan of corn OR mashed, but as our household cook (I do the cleanup), he knows better than to skip having either of those for Turkey day. He gets his yams and stuffing, and I get corn and mashed. And bliss reigns at our dinner table. :)
My grandmother used to make goose for Thanksgiving - she was a phenomenal cook. I still miss that every year. Turkey's just no substitute.

It doesn't matter how full I am, I always have seconds of BF's mother's yam casserole. It most closely resembles a dessert more than anything else and I never even liked yams before I tried this.
any of the potatoes...sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, etc. whatever kind there is, i'll take it. and actually my MIL makes at least two different kinds (and sometimes three!), so i'm looking forward to that.
I'm going to be very cliche, but I love the turkey! I live alone so there is no need or way for me to ever make turkey on my own. I usually only get it a few times a year, and I love it!!
