use a illuminating cream or a moisturizer w/illuminating properties? I'm looking for a couple of fall/winter products that will make my skin look "happy" during the dull winter months.
My favorite tinted moisturizure is the Maybelline Pure makeup with H2O. Its probably the best tinted moisturizer I've used, the coverage is great without being too makeup-y.
I sometimes use the Body Shop Vitamin E Illuminating creme. I really like the texture but I haven't really been able to figure out where to put it on my face exactly so I don't use it that often.
I love Ultima Glowtion. It is really light and it makes your skin look incredible. I also like that it lasts long and is pretty affordable at $22 a bottle. HTH!!

I just use a wee bit of my stila foundation (can't remember which kind right now) mixed with my really basic moisturizer, and it works beautifully. I feel like I have nothing on, but my skin is much more even.
I bought this about a month ago after reading raves on MUA. It's also highly rated on epinions.com. It's $6.00 and blends in so nice and doesn't feel heavy.
Stupid question, but what is the purpose for tinted moisturizer? Its just face lotion that gives you color on your face? Sorry I don't know too much about it.

Tinted Moisturizer evens out skin tone, but doesn't give a lot of coverage. It's great for people that just want a little bit of color without the heaviness of a foundation. It also works as a moisturizer, however it may not be enough moisture in the drier months.

I do too and I love it. They just came out with an illuminating TM that I haven't tried yet. Benefit makes an illuminator -High Beam and Moon Beam- and I like both of them. I don't use it on a regular basis though.
