Hey girls, so long time no "see"... anyways, I am so excited about this new boy I am seeing so I thought I would share: We met at a Halloween party two weeks ago and totally hit it off. Even though the party was an hour away for me, turns out he goes to school right next to my work! And he lives about 20 minutes from me. So we talked for a while and somehow it came up that he was only TWENTY years old!!!!! I'm 25, everyone at the party was my age or older so it never even occurred to me that someone who can't even legally drink yet would be at the party! But by that point he was so adorable I gave him my number anyways. So we went on our first date the following thursday and he actually brought me FLOWERS!!! I've never had a guy bring me flowers for a date (and I've been on LOTS of dates). We had a great first date, walked to a nearby restaurant and had a surprising amount to talk about. He watches all the shows I like except for Grey's & Six Degrees so when we got home he agreed to watch them w/ me. He didn't try to kiss me either!!! He turned 21 two days ago so I took him to dinner & a movie (Borat, really funny) yesterday. We had a great time & then came back & watched a little tv, but this time we did make out! Oh ya, and he looked at the flowers he got me last week and mentioned that he was gonna have to get me more before these one die! He's in Vegas right now (for the bday). I can't believe I like him so much! And he's 4 months younger than my little brother ! Oh well, just wanted to share... I'll keep ya'll updated!

Haha I think it's cool - I mean, it would've been understandable if you'd written him off in the beginning, but you didn't and you gave him a chance and he's a great guy! I (and I know lots of other ladies on here) regularly date guys way older than me. (My current BF is only a year older, and at first that was a major turn-off!)...so why can't it work the other way around?

Enjoy it/him! As long as he can hang with you, why not, right? My rule is "legal" and by legal I mean it's legal for him to buy me a drink. Your guy is officially 21 so he's fair game.

UPDATE:


So we went out again last night & decided to go to the beach, but the tunnel to cross the street was flooded so we had to walk a mile out of the way to cross PCH! Then on the way back we went a different way and the bridge was closed so we had to walk out of our way again! But it was really fun, then we came home & watched Grey's & Shark. He asked me to hang out this weekend (he's been out of town all the weekends I've known him thus far) but of course I am super busy so I said I will try. He's so cute though and sweet and honest! I am so excited! Oh and he invited me to a concert in two weeks. I can't believe this 21 y/o guy is so great!

UPDATE: So this guy is officially my boyfriend and I am taking him to my company holiday party! (He's taking me to see Imogen Heap and the Lakers... not exactly a fair trade.) This is scary!

OMG, that is so cool! I have no idea what to expect... the concerts I usually go to are not so "mellow." BTW, I missed you when I went to H&M on Black Friday! Hope you are doing well!
