I just read at E! Online (in the Watch With Kristin column) that Ryan and Julie will have a "late night hotel rendez-vous." Yuck! I still love Julie, but yuck. I'd seen a hint in a magazine, maybe Us, that Ryan was going to hook up with someone surprising and I wondered then if it would be Julie. She definitely has a thing for her daughter's ex boyfriends (remember Luke?).

Warning: more spoilers in my post!

Scarlett, I saw the premiere online (it's on The O.C.'s Myspace page and you can watch it with no commercials before it airs on Thursday!), and if the scene you're referring to is in the premiere, it's not quite what you think.  They do have a rendezvous... but it's not romantic.  You'll see what I mean! 

The episode is really good, btw -- it made me want to get back into this show again.  I love angsty Ryan!

Hmmm, very interesting! I'm glad it's more complicated than that. Can't wait to see it tomorrow! I heard the episode was on MySpace but I'm holding back -- a friend is coming over to watch the premiere tomorrow night.
