I have probably 3 blazers I haven't worn yet. They are Spring colors which I got at a good price at the end of summer so I will have to wait to wear them.
However, let me tell you about my client. The company I work for now does high-end closet design, and I spent a few days recently helping out at a client site. In preparation for the new construction, we had to remove all the client's clothes from her three closets and arrange everything on racks & shelves in her living room while the workmen did the demo and installation. Then before we put everything back in, we had to organize it by type and color, so I now have an extensive mental catalogue of this woman's clothing collection. She had quite a few tags on, but what was extraordinary was the value of her still-tagged items, alone. Including a $7,000 Christian Lacroix dress, it was easily about 30K. Just with the tags on. All the clothes in total probably represented more than the cost of most people's houses.
None. I am good about taking the tags off, though the lovely party dress I bought last winter still hasn't been worn...and I feel massively guilty about it! I'm going to wear it soon though!
I try to only buy things that I love...regardless of the price, and I'm really trying to resist succumbing to sales unless I can think of lots of different ways to wear a piece.
It helps to post different permutations on here too...I have worn my red Nanette Lepore blouse about 20 times since September...and I think I've definitely gotten my money out of it so far:)
Maybe 10? Some of them I can't figure out what to wear with, and some are just so old that they either don't fit or I don't want to wear them. I have a few pairs of unworn shoes too.
