Sawyer is so hot I thought this was a good episode, but can anyone tell me what the heck happened last week? I felt confused, like I had missed 10 minutes of the opening. I really need to watch last season's finale again.
Wasn't Charlie in the hatch when it blew up? When Locke comes out of the woods, everyone is like, oh yeah hi guy how's it hangin, we don't notice the blood coming from your head. I mean what the hell, no one on the beach heard an explosion or saw the flashing light? I guess I thought they were going to open the episode starting right after the hatch explodes
Whoops, I totally got off track. I liked that Kate got back in her cell at the end. She likes Sawyer
I was totally creeped out (which is a good thing) when Ben/henry took sawyer to the top of the hill to see the island .. wow it was so shocking!
Also the entire episode confused me even more (which again is good) because I thought that the "others" lived on the island and now it appears they dont? Or perhaps they have an undewater tunnel to the other mini island with the hospital etc ...
I just REALLY want to know what the others are all about.
I liked the episode. It wasn't like anything mind-blowing, but it was still good. So we know that Juliet is a fertility doctor, and it could be Benry's spinal tumor x-ray Charlie was looking at. I didn't really get the part with Desmond and the 9 iron. Like how did he know it was going to rain and why did he keep insisting that he had to fix Claire's roof?

I think for some reason Desmond can see the future or has premonitions and he saw that Claire's roof was going to be struck by lightening. So to avoid it, he built the lightening rod, so the lightening would strike that instead of Claire's roof.
I loved the episode! Jack is clearly there because he's a spinal surgeon but how do the others know all of this and two islands? That's just nuts!

Yeah, like how Desmond knew about Locke's speech before he made it. I think Hurley is having premonitions too, because he was having a deja vu moment when Desmond was throwing stones into the ocean the week before last.

I think the tumor is Benry's and that removing it will be the "cooperation" Benry was talking to Jack about. If Jack removes the tumor, Benry will take him home. That said, Benry isn't trustworthy. I suspect Jack will remove the tumor and Benry will have him sent right back to his aquarium/cage.
Did anyone else hear Benry tell Juliet "the sub's back" when the Others returned w/ Coleen in a stretcher? If the Others have some kind of submarine, it would explain how they weren't wet when they boarded the boat 2 episodes ago.

I knew I heard something like that! I just couldn't really tell from the whispering but it would explain how they traveled between the two islands without really being seen.

Ack! I heard him say that, but I didn't make the connection.

Hmmm...I think that Hurley said he was having deja vu b/c Locke made the speech that Desmond had already told him about at the beginning of the episode. The way he said it and how he was looking at Desmond makes me think that this is what he was referring to.
