Did you all hear that TR Knight the actor that plays George on Grey's Anatomy has publicly said that he is gay?
I am very impressed by this. We all know that there are toms of gay actors out there and I think that it is foolish of people to think that they can not do their job any longer if we know that they are gay. Like we are going to be thinking of that constantly. They are actors after all. When Robert Downey Jr played Charlie Chaplin I wasn't saying, "I don't believe this at all because he is a drug addict." I totally believed his performance. Same thing with good 'ol Gandalf the Wizard...It didn't hurt Sir Ian McKellan's career at all IMO.

Good for him. Did you hear any of those rumors about Isaiah Washington and the fight he had with T.R. Knight (and Patrick Dempsey stepped in)? I hope this isn't true because I wouldn't be able to look at Preston the same ...
PEOPLE released a statement from Knight today that said, "While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I hope the fact that I'm gay isn't the most interesting part of me."
But the National Enquirer may have tipped us off to the story when they reported that during the fight between Washington and Dempsey, Washington yelled, "I'm not your little faggot like (name deleted)."
The Enquirer said they withheld the name of the co-star Washington mentioned "because of the extreme nature of the slur."
I agree that it doesn't matter and I don't get why people don't just say who they are. He also plays a doctor on that show and I don't think he's one in real life. Good for him, although I suspect he was forced into it by a certain Dr. Burke (forgot his real name).
I heard about this too, and I was sad! Only because he's so cute. I see nothing wrong with being gay. That's really sad if Isaiah Washington said that about him.
