Color for Bedroom help

So we have this entire furniture set for our bedroom

and we have black ducts ( live in a loft) around the ceiling.

What color would you choose? Initially I wanted a chocolate brown but it's definately going to look too dark if we do that.

Thoughts? We're really stuck.

I think lots of colors would work.

The first colors that came to my mind where a light to medium beige, gray-blue, soft green ... depends on the color of your linens too though.

i was gonna suggest a soft blue or even green too...or a sort of natural tan, bamboo kind of color might look nice too...bring out the earthiness

Oooh, I'm jealous, that's some nice furniture!  I wouldn't go for brown because I think it wouldn't show off the furniture.  Paint color does depend on the bedding and floor.

Here are two looks I have been saving for myself:

My mom just painted my parents' bedroom in a light green and I love it...I definitely think that could work. It's so relaxing and refreshing now - which is exactly what you want in a bedroom!

I don't know how you feel about bright, bold colors in the bedroom, but I think turquoise would be really pretty--it would really show off the brown furniture.

If turquoise is too bright, I think a soft blue or sage green would look just as good.

I was thinking of suggesting a turquoise or teal color too.

If you feel like trying something a little unexpected, how about pale tangerine orange? Not a pastel and not ORANGE! orange, but somewhere right in between. I think it would look fantastic with that brown.

A lavender, light blue or a light sagey green would be nice. A vanilla color would be nice if you infused bold color with accent pieces. A tangerine in a soft tone would be nice if you could find one that wasn't peachy or roo sherberty.

If you felt you could go with a more bold scheme, a red or orange or turqoiuse would also be beautiful.

I think you can do almost anything with that, but I would avoid yellow or brown.

I really like the idea of a sage green color with that bedroom set.
