I am so proud of myself I had to post. I weighed myself at the gym last night and was shocked to see that I have lost 20 lbs since the beginning of September. I have been working out daily (300-500 calories eliptical and a mix of weight classes and pilates), drinking boatloads of water (about 12 bottles of water a day) and for the first time ever, I have severely cut back what I have been eating (today was just some rotisserie turkey, a quaker oatmeal breakfast cookie, and a bowl of Raisin Bran with no milk). I hope I can keep this up but I'm afraid I won't continue to lose this quickly.
I still have more pounds to lose (unfortunately) but I will keep you posted. Just had to share!
PS-sorry about falling off the Diet and Exercise diary postings. I just always forget to post...
Congrats - that is AWESOME. Don't get discouraged if you don't continue to lose at that rate - every pound down counts & you are becoming more healthy - so that is what really matters in the long run. I have no idea how much you are looking to lose in the long run but I have to keep reminding myself that I didn't put it on overnight & it won't come off that quickly either. Keep it up!
