I booked with Travelocity on a Sunday last week for a flight leaving on Wednesday. Beause of the last minute timing, I was forced to get paper tickets sent to me. Fine, whatever. They call me the next day demanding that I spend another $100 because something changed. I didn't change anything, they did. I refused to pay and they eventually picked up the tab. I was then told that I would get my tickets on the next day (Tuesday) via Fed Ex. The next day I get my return ticket and a confirmation email only identifying my first flight. Since I received the return ticket, I assumed that I could just go and check in. Umm, no. So I get to the airport before my flight and tried to check in. The woman I spoke to kept asking me for my paper ticket. I told her that I did not receive one for the first flight. Eventually she called Travelocity and explained the problem. Travelocity then told her and me that my ticket would arrive at my apartmet an hour and a half after my plane was scheduled to leave and so I would have to fill out a lost ticket complaint and buy a ticket that day for the flight. The travelocity stated that it would cost about $100, but I would be reimbursed. So the agent told me that it would be $350 because it was like I bought the ticket that day. Then I have been getting calls from Fed Ex saying that they needed me to sign for the package (my tickets), to which I explain that I am not there because I was on my trip. They don't care so I have to go and pick up my tickets so that I can send them to Travelocity to get my refund. F THAT! I am so pissed. Travelocity is great as long as you book in advance. Their last minute modus operandi sucks ass.
