i guess this could also go under relationships, but that's even more embarrassing on SO many levels.


so some of you might know about this guy i have to work with (only until the end of the week!!)... muscely, socially inept, poor dental hygiene, sideburns, ignorant all around idiot. refer to 'racist or not?' thread.  i've generally avoided any political discussions, so our conversations revolve around the weather, traffic or our boss.


so um, last night, i, um, had... a somewhat... inappropriate dream about him.  usually i forget my dreams within the first few seconds of waking up, but OH MY GOD this has been seared into my brain.  it's an adult nightmare.


if your own subconscious betrays you, who can you trust?!  omg i'm dying.  i have no attraction to him whatsoever.  this isn't a love-hate relationship we're talking about. it's just hate-hate.  i'm so creeped out.


has this happened to anyone else?  my brain is so pervy.

AHAHAHAHA. LMAO. It isn't that bad. I am sure that your dream wasn't actually about him, he represents someone else. Umm, yeah, I am sure that I've had a dream like that before and been totally freaked. I think that the less that you think about it, the sooner you will forget it. I think that because you hate him so much you can't stop thinking about him and how excited you are to get away from him at the end of the week. It will be ok, just relax.

YES. YES. YES YES YES. it's happened to me w/even more inappropriate people that i could not be less attracted to in real life. it's disturbing but i believe we should not take it literally!!!

LMAO!!  you guys have no idea what a relief this is (despite our respective embarrassment).  if my mind was attracted to him, i would've died of shame.


and i swear i blush every time i run into this guy... he must think i'm attracted to him.  eww!

I too have had these dreams about people I would NEVERR IRL want anything to do with. It must be our minds playing tricks on us :)

I feel your pain! I had an icky dream about my boss.  It made me want to take a shower in bleach.    But, I don't think it's abnormal.  If you think about someone/something a lot during the day, sometimes you dream about them, too.  Why our brains punish us with the "adult" material is beyond me though.
