Just wondering what everyone's fav foundation was these days. I am in need for something new, and need some ideas on a great foundation :) I have been using Shisiedo and Clinique City base.

I'm a bit of a foundation fiend...here are all my favorites. I've got oily, acne-prone skin.
Giorgio Armani Matte Silk Foundation
DiorSkin Icone Photo Perfect Creme to Powder Foundation (my current love)
Bare Escentuals
Stila Illuminating Powder Foundation.
Vincent Longo Water Canvas
Shiseido The Makeup Stick Foundation
I used City Base years ago and liked it considering I had little experience with foundation. Now I think that there are other companies that do a better job at foundations as Clinique at similar price points.
I generally use Dior, but lately I've been using the L'Oreal stick foundation and I love it. It goes on so smooth and blends nicely, and my skin has look so clear since I've started using it.
I adore Stila's Illuminating Powder Foundation. It covers anything you want it to, but it's still sheer. I use it almost every day. I also sometimes use Prescriptives Virtual Skin if I feel like a liquid instead.

I LOVE Clinique - I can't think of the exact type I use - but it's very lightweight and sheer. I highly recommend it if you already have nice skin and you just want to even out your color without adding too much make-up goop to your face. I've tried so many other types, and I always go back to clinique...
i have combo/oily skin and tried soooooo many products. i feel that foundation is worth splurging on (especially ones that are versatile and can be used as concealor or have buildable coverage). these are some i've tried and liked.
in the liquid and cream category, i like:
cle de peau cream foundation - so expensive but i love the formula. if you are looking for a heavy coverage try this (pea-size only) or just blend in spots for a more natural look. very buildable coverage. not a wide range of colors however.
shu uemura fluid foundation s and water perfect foundation - great for sheer coverage and not too expensive.
maybelline puremakeup - probably the best drug store foundation i've tried in years. i don't use this day to day but if i'm in a pinch i buy this.
guerlain Fleur de Teint Foundation - doesn't have the best color range but it goes on great. has really good staying power and great texture.
by terry - never tried their foundation (i'm sure they are fabulous) but i love their color skin enhancer for a minimal makeup look.
chantecaille future skin - the texture of this foundation is amazing; it's like a gel, cream, liquid, whipped combination that goes on so smoothly! the best is that it has a buildable coverage. moderate to heavy coverage.
bobbi brown tinted moisturizer - my favorite one and i like how it smells. laura mercier makes me break out like crazy.
for powder, cream to powder i like:
cle de peau creamy makeup - a compact that you can use wet or dry. i really love this line for makeup but they don't have a wide range of colors.
armani luminous powder foundation - a little overpriced imo
mac natural skinfinish - i think this is a limited edition item but i love this so much more than bare minerals. first, it's a solid... so less messy. second it doesn't give that sometimes cakey look of mineral makeup. i bought a backup of this because it's limited and i like it so much!
I have oily skin. I currently use Lancome's Magique Matte mousse makeup for medium to full coverage, it's lightweight and stays on and makes my skin looks naturally smooth. For light coverage I use Lancome's Dual Finish powder. But I always prime my face with Smashbox's Anti-Shine before applying my foundation, so that helps it to stay on, too.
