I just thought I was laughing at this post (DH told me to hush so he could hear the tv) until I saw the hand. I'm literally crying.

Well, some of those spices still would have been 10 years old in 1988! 


Creepy Hand Thing is supposed to be either a bird house or a bird feeder.  I can't really tell.  But I think if I were to put it outside, it would scare all the birds away in the neighborhood.  So it's currently hanging on the wall in our breakfast room, being it's creepy self.  (It's not going to stay there for long.)


Scarlett--there was no explanation for the stuffed cactus.  It was just in a box with some silver platters, an old chafing dish set, and a half used box of Miracle Gro.


Some of your stories are cracking me up.  I love the moldy baseball gloves, the towels, and the framed lace collar.  So weird!
