always makes me want to move back to england! without fail, every time I listen to them, I start having visions of myself prowling around london by myself, wearing flat boots and a pea coat, under a grey sky, lonely but kind of enjoying it. Sigh... I haven't had any solo adventures for a long time. I miss my solo adventures.


on a more prosaic note, I read the other day that Tom Chaplin is in rehab. Lame.

I know!  C'mon Tom, your better than that old cliche!


They are rescheduling most of their tour.  Fortunately for me, they haven't had to cancel the dates in the NW.  Not yet, anyway.

sephorablue, i didn't know you used to live in england!  i'm going to be there for a week in november, do you have any tips on where to stay/what to do??  sorry for the thread hijack but my friend and i still haven't booked our hotel and we're totally stressing it!  tia!

Yeah, a lot of brit rock makes me so nostalgic and home-sick for Old Blighty.  I normally look at the sunshine or think of my ex and feel better

he's in rehab? that really makes me sad. i've been listening to their new album a lot lately -- he does sound very sensitive.

and incidentally, why are all the flat boots i like the most all over $300? just a random grumble.
