i watched! i have to say, up until last night i haven't really been thrilled by any of them since the first episode. but last night they all really stepped it up. my thoughts...

dilana - my bf loves her. it must be a guy thing, i just don't get it. i thought she did great last night and i think she's powerful enough to front supernova, but her voice just irritates me. although i did enjoy it when she lost the gravelly thing toward the end of the song.

also, i can't believe no one else wanted that song. it really made them look like idiots.

jill - eh. she did well last night, she sounded great and everything but i just can't see her up there with them. she seems so forced, like she's putting way too much effort into being a "rock star" and not enough into her vocals. and i hate the way she wears so much eye makeup - her eyes are gorgeous and her makeup detracts from that, imo.

ryan - he did great. i really liked his performance but i don't know how i feel about him still.

storm - she did really well too, but again, eh. don't love her, don't hate her. not yet anyway.

zayra - i think she'll finally go this week. she can sing, but i think her accent kills it. she's nuts, but i really like her attitude. and man, that body is unbelievable.

josh - i don't like him much at all, but i think it could be that he looks like someone i don't like and it creeps me out. every week i think he does alright, but i'm never amazed.

magni - loved him. and that adorable little boy of his - so cute! i think he's consistently good and last night he was awesome.

patrice - i don't like her at all. i did, but lately she's just blah. she does nothing for me and i think she'll be gone this week if it's not zayra.

lukas - fantastic. he's creepy and weird and i wish you could combine his voice/presence with toby's looks (i know, i'm evil). i just thought he finally let go last night and it was awesome..i think it'll be between him, magni and dilana to win this.

toby - he's just so hot. he can sing, and i liked his performance last night, but he's not going to win this thing. but i do love to look at him.

Ok, here's my thoughts. They differ a bit from yours asf, but take them for what you will!

Dilana - she's good and everything, but she doesn't do much for me either. Her voice and performances always seem the same to me...I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't love her.

I do agree w/you - I can't believe no one else chose that song w/Gilby..how stupid can they be?

Jill - I can't her. I thought she sucked last night and I don't understand why they liked her. I think she's trying way too hard.

Ryan - I loved him last week, but I literally burst out laughing last night when he came running up on the stage w/that fur hood on his head and ripped it off. A little too theatrical for me.

Storm - she did do well, she can sing, etc, etc, but she still tries to just ooze sex and it bugs me. Those bulgy eyes and pouty faces...ugh...

Zayra - SHE HAS GOT TO GO! I feel like now, she's just wearing these ridiculous outfits to shock everyone. Did she think she looked sexy? I mean skinny is great and all, but she looks like a matchstick. And her voice sucks!

Josh - he belongs singing in a coffee shop. I'm not saying he's a bad singer, but he belongs fronting a Dave Matthews cover band, not Supernova. He looked like he was about to crap his pants when Tommy said he was gonna play drums w/him.

Magni - LOVED him last night - he sounded so great and I was so happy for him that his wife and little baby were with him.

Patrice - I don't like her either. She bugs me for some reason. I think it's because she smiles too much when she sings. She just bugs me and I want her to go.

Lukas - I loved him last night too. This was the first time he actually sang and it was really good.

Toby - another one I absolutely love. He's so freakin hot and I think he's awesome!

just have to say you're right about patrice with the smiling - it's so irritating, and totally is not the image (at least not the one i have) of a rock star.

Well, I am glad we are rid of everyone who sucks except Zayra & I just think they keep her around for shock value / ratings. She does make for good tv.

I will echo the Dilana sentiments - I thought she was a no brainer winner but now that I heard her in my car without the performance I've gotten ho hum about her. I'd still be happy if she won though.

I thought Storm toned it down again this week - sorry, I do love her & I think she is so pretty but the oozing sex thing irritates me.

And I just hate Lukas. I've tried to like him I just don't

I feel like i'm out of the loop on Magni too - I just don't get it. I don't hate him or anything but I'm ho hum about him too!

Josh, please go since with the Dave Mathews Band or something

Ryan - see, I really liked him last night. I don't think he'll win but I am enjoying him.

Toby- mweh. I think I'm over him. But I've been known to change my mind back & forth in these situations, so don't hold it against me.

Ok, and I have to say it - I am warming up to Tommy. The whole hoodie with the devil horns thing cracks me up & he is highly entertaining. But I really really

Dave. I wish he'd play something. I like that he's being a little more of a jerk this season.

What do ya'll think about Brooke? I don't think we've ever talked about her. I just can't believe how easily she can go from looking like a trampy ho to really really pretty.

Oh and I don't know how Zayra did but I love her so much. I don't think she's right for the band but that's because she's better than their silly, little rock band. She's a powerhouse all on her own. That said, I hate her outfits. Ick. Get a stylist please.

And Dilana? I'm not feeling it either. I never have really. I don't think her voice can hold up over time and I hate her semi-goth look.

I haven't posted on this yet, but I have been watching! To summarize:

Every time I see Jill, I think "Rockstar Barbie!" I doubt she'll go this week, but she'll be gone eventually.

I can't help it -- I love Dilana and have since her creepy beginning. I think she needs a bit of work on her voice, but she's so freaking cool. I want her to win. However, I don't think they'll end up with a female singer.

Patrice and Storm do nothing for me. I don't hate them, but they're just "blah" to me. And I think "Storm Large" is the dumbest name ever.

Zayra is fun to watch, but I agree with asf that she needs to work on her accent. I don't think she's right for this band anyway.

I agree with the rest of you about Josh. He's a decent singer, but can he really see himself with Tommy Lee?

I like Magni, even though I didn't in the beginning. He seems to have "developed." He's my 2nd favorite, I think, and he has a good voice.

Lukas is a showman, which is cool. Of all of them, he seems like the best fit, personality-wise.

Ryan is fun to watch, too. I have a mini-crush on him, though, so I am biased.

I am "eh" about Toby. I liked him in the beginning, but he isn't doing much for me lately.

Why are people voting for Zayra????? Why, why, why???? She needs to go home - I just don't get it. She has ZERO talent. I'm sorry blubirde, i know you like her, but she sucks!

I'm glad Jill went home - she really bothered me and I don't think she was right for the band either. I can totally see why Josh went home as well. I think Patrice should have been in the bottom 3 though - she's so blah. And STOP smiling!!!

I'm sooooo glad Josh got kicked off last night. I almost couldn't watch through his head bobbling thing last night. It was so freaking annoying. If only they'd not had a close up on him the whole time, it might not have been that bad. And Jill's version of Respect did NOT rock. It sounded like karaoke. Glad she's gone too.

Oh and ha! Patrice wasn't in the bottom 3. See? The public knows what it wants.

I just watched - I am so surprised but pleased that they sent 2 home. It was time.

Shopchicago33, the only thing we can figure is that Zayra is getting the international votes, but there MUST be some contingent that pools votes to screw up the show - like on American Idol where they vote for the worst one to screw with the numbers? Or lots of blubirde's friends are calling to keep her on - oh, that's right, they are voting for Patrice!

And as much as I do like Storm, everytime she turns me off & I start to like her again, she makes some snide comment like she did tonight about humping Gilby. Gross

ETA: oh yeah, and did ya'll read that Dave is hooking up with Jenna Jameson? Ick.
