Yippee!  We are going in a few weeks...I haven't been with my hubby in years (went last year for work but didn't even see the outside of my hotel)...What are your favorite things to in Vegas these days?

Any favorite places to eat?

There's the huge Fashion Show Mall, but it's not as much fun as the Caesar's Forum.  I really enjoyed Voodoo Lounge at Rio.  It's a pretty chill bar/club, and the rooftop area is AMAZING.  Beautiful view, and cause it's outdoors you can actually talk.  As for shows, you must see O.  You have to book way in advance, and it's pretty pricey, but it's definitely worth the money if you enjoy Cirque du Soleil shows.  Otherwise I always enjoy just walking around Vegas.  There's lots to see and do, and you're bound to stumble across something as you're wandering.  The Monorail was great for getting around when I was there in June.

This is going to sound so nerdy but we spent SO much time at M&M World - down by MGM / NYNY. Seriously like hours. It's a store so it's "free" & the whole place smelled like chocolate. There was all manner of M&M goods there & it was fun.
M&M World

Do you like roller coasters? My fav is still the one at Circus Circus - I was miserable on the NYNY one.

My other favorite thing is to just go watch the lions at the MGM Grand. But I'm nerdy like that & my friends like to gamble there so we spend a chunk of time there when we go with them.

Have you checked out this site? I just think it's fun to go through the different things to do. Also if you click on the "vegas guide" tab it breaks it down by type of trip (The Bar Hopper, The Anniversary, The Elvis Fan) so you can kind of customize your trip to your liking.

But I'm like you - I also had to get the skinny of what people here liked. I'll let everyone answer this on their own, but if you go search vegas on this site - there are some great threads from the past that I read while planning. Just in case some of those ladies don't see this....

I'm also a big fan of just walking through the casinos. I like to see the different themes & just stopping at random bars & shops. I'm so jealous.
