Ironic. Did anyone watch her show? It was one of the things she poked fun about - that her mom sold all of her crap on ebay. I was thinking that might be what this was, but it sure isn't looking like it! Couldn't she sell them for more through consignment?
ETA: after looking through the items up for auction - is anyone else surprised? I guess I thought her closet would be full of ridiculously expensive designer clothes. What I see is a bunch of clothes that any one of the ST girls could have in their closet....I mean right? ie, Sweetees, Bebe, Ella Moss....... Am I silly to think that rich celebs have better clothes than the rest of us? (well, ya'll since I primarily shop at Tarjay, but you know what I mean).

I also think it is tacky. Also somewhat annoying .famous people recieve so many free items from designers, and who knows if she even bought any of this.
Is this really an auction for her clothes? Is she that "poor" that she needs to sell her middle of the line clothing? I noticed it wasn't for charity either, so maybe she does need the cash! I guess it's time for her to join Kathy Griffin's D-list club.

Honestly, you'd be surprised at the *normal* mall store items celebs gravitate towards. The star of the show I work on...her fave jeans are Lucky Brand and her closet is basically made up of all the casual stuff I wear (we own a lot of the same jeans, it's quite funny!). A lot of stars are shockingly unpretentious about their fashion choices.
I do think it's tacky though to say "Tori Spelling's" blah blah blah. Good grief. AllieGurl's right, stars get so much free stuff and a lot of this looks like freebie-type stuff you'd get if you went to enough awards shows/benefits/etc. etc.
For something else really tacky from Tori Spelling, look in the current issue of Us Weekly (the one with her on the cover that says something like "Tori's Mom Keeps Her Father's Fortune From Her"). There's an article about how she's only getting $800,000 from her Dad's estate and how poor Tori has always worked for herself since she was 16. The best part is the pictures of her and her husband standing in front of a pawn shop looking sad, as if they need to sell her jewelry, and then coming out of a dollar store and scratching off lottery tickets. She's wearing the same outfit in all the pictures so it's even more obvious they were totally staged.

wow - i wish I'd "only" get $800,000. I have been working since I was 13 & don't have a mansion or a name to get inflated prices for my clothes on ebay. Does she seriously think the average person will feel sorry for her about that? Sorry - this sounds really catty but AS IF!!!!!!!

How bout it. I got the US weekly and looked at the cover and said to my BF are you kidding me? Who would feel sorry for her for "only getting $800k?" Is she serious? And the whole pawn shop pics were just so tacky.
Selling her clothes on ebay is another tacky move. I'm sorry, but she's got about $750k more than I do!

yeah, seriously! I totally agree. "Only" $800,000 -- cry me a river.
