Just wanted to mention that today after work my teammates and I made a trip to the local liquor mecca (aka Specs) and found low carb/low cal margarita mix. Its 4 oz for 10 cals plus whatever the tequilla is which I thought was pretty good. I tried it immediately when I got home and it was pretty good. My only complaint was that it had the typical splenda after taste that I dislike but I think I could get use to it.
The brand is Baja Bob.
I also found out about a powder margarita mix along the same line where all you have to do is order tequilla and ice at a restaurant, dump it in, mix and you have an instant low cal rita! I'll find out the brand but its a local maker in the woodlands in texas and you can order it online.
I just saw something on Amazon grocery today about lo-cal margarita mixers out of Galveston, TX. Any chance this might be the same thing? I already forgot the brand name, dumbly.
hmm the one i heard about was out of the woodlands bluebirdie but who knows. I threw away the post it note today by accident with the name on it. I'll find out though and post once I try it out. I'll gladly be the guinea pig
