I really don't like this season and am not into it, but I have caught a few of the shows, including some of last nights. I wanted to watch some of it to see how they dealt with the hurricane, but I hate them all so much, it's hard to watch. I think they all hate her because she is very wealthy and spoiled and tells a lot of stories about her well to do lifestyle, and they all think she's lying. At least that's what I got from last night's show. And I think they also hate her because she seems to make that crazy blonde girl worse, like she almost eggs on her emotions. That's as much help as I can be, sorry.

They hate her because she embellishes her stories. They think she is immature and they just pick on her for no reason. It really gets on my nerves when the gay guy(can't remember his name) and Janelle pick on her.

They wrote a burn book about Fitz and Fitz found it. Fitz told her mom and of course her mom was defending her, trying to make Fitz feel better. Her mom was telling her that they were just low lifes and this and that. The gay guy was eavesdropping on their conversation and started talking mess to Fitz's mom. DRAMA. & then Janelle found out and they were just telling Fitz mean things. They really really really really get on my nerves!

ok the end. I love the Real World.

I like her. I think they all just make her out worse than what she is. Tyler annoys me to no end, everytime he talks he makes my cringe. I also don't like Janelle, she thinks she is better than everyone else. It is is annoying.

i've only seen portions of different episodes and i didn't see last night's so maybe my theory is off but i think svetlana is hated by different cast members for different reasons:

tyler (the gay guy) hates her because he is jealous. i think he is used to being the center of attention and svetlana gets all the attention and the only way he can get any attention is by hating on her.

janelle (the black girl w/ the curly hair) hates her because she's jealous too. svetlana is prettier than janelle and all the straight guys were instantly attracted to svetlana, esp. john, who i think janelle has a crush on.

john (the white guy w/ the straight hair) hates svetlana because he totally wanted to get with her but after a few epi's it didn't seem like that was gonna happen, though it did seem like it might have gone somewhere when svetlana was mad at her boyfriend martin. so now john hates her because he knows he can't have her.

zach (i think that's his name, the guy w/ the curly hair and pretty green eyes) hates svetlana because she told him he wasn't competent to do the "manager" job when they were all picking roles for their mystic tan job. zach was really hurt that svetlana would say something like that when he's always tried to defend her to the other cast members. oh and i think in the beginning zach wanted to get with svetlana too, because she's pretty and they're both jewish.

jose (i think that's his name, the latino guy that wears his shirts w/ the collar popped up) hates svetlana because everybody else does. he also said she was immature the way she handled the whole who's going to be manager situation w/ zach.

paula (the anorexic/on drugs/has a million issues blonde girl) does not hate svetlana, because svetlana seems to feel sorry for her, trys to support her and shushs people when they say mean things about her.

as for svetlana herself, i think she's a product of her environment. she's young, hot (imo), wealthy and seems to have been coddled her whole life. deep down i think she has a good heart as evidenced by the way she behaves toward paula but i can see how she may seem obnoxious, esp. because she acts like a child when she doesn't get what she wants and it seems like she has no diplomacy skills whatsoever. which makes her the perfect Real World cast member. oh and to be honest, i don't think all the diplomacy in the world would've made tyler or janelle like her. their hatred seems to run pretty deep and i don't think any of it has to do with her exaggerating stories. because who hates someone just for exaggerating stories? like who really cares, you know?

and that my friends, is why i think everyone hates svetlana. and also why i should be put away for analyzing the heck out of a reality show that's been doing the same thing since i was in high school!

Amazing summary, couldn't have said it better myself! I don't get why they hate her either, just jealousy and envy I guess. I actually like her and find her funny at the way she acts sometimes.

I think she is absolutely gorgeous, which is why I needed to know why everyone hated her.
