I work at a very well-known bank and it's very large - probably at least 160,000 employees in the US alone.

We get:

Vacation days - 10 the first few years you are there, then 15 after 3 years and then 20 after 5 or 10 years I think.

Sick time:  6 days per year and they roll over if you don't use them.

Personal days:  4 per year

Paid Holidays:  All the major ones:  Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, plus we get Vetern's Day and Columbus Day - I think it ends up being a total of 11.  But, if a holiday falls on a Sat we get the following Monday off.

Benefits - I get Medical and it costs about $60 a monthly on my part  - they cover the rest.   I get Dental for about $6 a month.  I know the offer vision for really cheap, but I don't need it.  I also get a life insurance policy that they pay for totally.

I have a 401k, you're eligible after your 120 day probation period is over.  They will match up to 6% 100%.  They also put money into a Retirement Fund for me that I don't have to put anything into.

I get 3 mos paid Maternity leave too.

I have a crappy salary but the benefits are OK. We get a lot of paid holidays, plus 2 weeks at Christmas and 1 week in the spring. Medical, dental and vision are all paid for, but the medical insurance isn't fantastic, so I pay a little more for that. We get 4 personal days and 8 sick days per year

This is shocking to me. In my city, teachers get 90 sick/personal days (out of 180). They have the best insurance and get a, IMHO, generous raise in salary every year. Our teachers have been on strike for years now trying to get better benefits... I guess they don't know how good they have it.

As for me, I don't have a "real" job, so I don't get any benefits. Our company offers 5 days of vacation after one year of working an average of 6 hours per week; we don't get paid holidays or time and a half... the only day we're closed is Christmas Day. If you don't work, you don't get paid. They offer crappy insurance options, but you have to pay an arm and a leg for them.

Are you kidding me!?!? That's amazing (and kind of unneccessary, no?). But my state is 49th out of 50 in funding education, so there you have it.

My company is small, less than 50 people I think (about 21 in the office, another 15 or so who are construction/labor).

We get the minimal holidays-- probably 11. (No MLK Day, no Columbus Day). We only get one day for Christmas, unless it falls on a Tuesday or something, then we get 2 days.

2 weeks of vaction per year with roll-over, but it's accrued as hrs/paycheck.

5 sick days, no roll over.

I think we have a couple persona-time-off, but I'm not sure.

No 401k or anything like that.

Healthcare is fairly good for a small company I think. I seriously pay less than $10 per month for health/vision/dental. Blue Cross insurance which is $200 deductible/year. Delta Dental, which is about $20 for a regular check up. I don't use the vision stuff.
