My, uh, friend, D (you're all familiar with him) has decided to cut his hair (thank heavens!). Right now it's looooooong, like as long as mine when it's wet; when it's dry it springs up to just below his shoulders. However, he doesn't know what to do with it and I'm trying to help him come up with ideas. He's got masses upon masses of super curly hair (we're talking corkscrew curls, here). He doesn't want a buzz cut or anything like that.
I told him that whatever haircut he gets, he'll probably have to use product. However, he doesn't want to use products that have been tested on animals. Any good recs for that? For some reason I thought that John Frieda didn't test on animals, but I checked my bottles and it doesn't say anything about it. Grrrr.
So, what I'm actually trying to ask in this long, drawn out post is where the hell can I find pictures of men's hairstyles or does anyone have any suggestions for me? oh, recs for products? Thanks.
there are a lot of professional products that he can use for whatever style he chooses, but a couple of large manufacturers have a "mens" line that a lot more guys are comfortable using just because it says "mens" on the bottle.
Redken for Men
American Crew
Matrix for Men
I'm not sure if they test on animals, you would have to check their websites/bottles to find out.
as for styles, I would do just as we do. Search celebrity styles, check out the above manufactuers websites, etc.
Well I'm not much help with the hair cut part, but I know that MOP Modern Organic Products doesn't animal test, and the container design is somewhat masculine. Here is a link. to some molding cream.

My brother has curly hair and swears by American Crew products. I don't know about the tested on animals stuff though.
He has quite thick, curly hair (I think he was adopted as my hair is straight and fine as hay) and wears it in kind of a style like the pics of JT here. Short on the back and side, a bit longer on top with some sideburns. Then he sort of curl/spikes up the top bit.
