I'm not very much help since Ive only been there for about 6 months and most of my time is spent with school.
So the only thing I know of is the shopping. There is Easton Town Center (www.eastontowncenter.com) Which has Nordies and anthro, its an outdoor mall, so if its nice out its nice to walk around around there and there are a bunch of restaurants around there as well. There is also Tuttle mall, this is a decent mall too, there is a website for it, but not sure what it is. It just has your basic mall type of stores. There is also Polaris Fashion Place, this has Saks and a Denim store called Indigo Nation as well as a super cool jewelry store called Jule. Those are the three main malls I go to. And then on High St. in the Short North there are a bunch of cool boutiques and is very artsy. If your looking to buy jeans, Dr. Mojoe is a MUST. There is also an american apparel on the corner of 5th and High, i think.
As far as restaurants and things, Im not too sure about. I know there is an awesome Sushi place called Haiku that is also on High st.
I'm sure some of the other girls will have alot of other things to add. Unfortunately, all I know is the shopping.
I will be in columbus tuesday and wednesday and free in the evenings if you want to meet up.

I'm from Cincinnati, but from going to Co for years there is plenty to do.It's been awhile since I've actually spent time there I'm sure Bex, Ritz (i think), and a couple other girls can help.
A couple other ideas are : the Columbus Zoo and the Columbus Art Museum
The Short North and Italian Village are just south of campus on High Street...cute cafes and fun window shopping. The North Market is basically full of amazing food, including Jeni's Ice Cream which you MUST try. Down in German Village (a bit further south) are Schiller Park where they have Shakespeare in the Park going on now and The Book Loft (discounted books, 32 rooms) and some fun streets to walk up and down.
What kinds of things do you usually enjoy seeing/doing?
i think they pretty much covered it all.. lots of shopping and cute restaurants... i would definitely walk through the short north and/or german village areas.. and there's also the zoo and museums, etc.
Definitely go to Short North- great restaraunts and shopping
Easton is another nice mall. You can see all of Les Wexner's glory there with the flagship stores for CO Bigelow, Victoria's Secret (which I think looks like a high class brothel), B&B and Limited. Great restaraunts there too.
I adore the Franklin Park Conservatory. I'm not sure what is on display there right now but they have a permanent display of Chihuly glass which I am in love with...
