Really those are amazing pictures. I'm so jealous over here I can hardly stand it! You did such a good job with the camera! No fingers, thumbs, odd bald man in front, etc. I can't wait to go visit Europe. *wistful sigh*
Sunshinegirl - No! I didn't see any cats at the Coliseum at all. In fact, I couldn't figure out why all over Rome there were cat souvenirs -- "Gatti di Roma" calendars, etc. Finally someone told me about the cats at the Coliseum, but I didn't see a single one. It was really hot and crowded, so maybe they were off hiding somewhere.
Oh, and please don't be too impressed by my photography, really. I took almost 400 photos, and these are the good ones. There are TONS of bad ones too.
I just realized my Lion Monument one isn't showing up, at least not for me. It's one of my favorites because the place is just so beautiful and serene. The photo doesn't do it justice IMO.
edit: WTH - the pic won't post. Here's a different view of it.

detroit - thank you for the reminder! We went through that Rome tour so fast, I felt like my head was spinning. I liked Bath too -- I really wanted to go to the fashion museum there, but we didn't have time. It would be a great place to spend a weekend.
Aside from Oxford (where I lived for 3 1/2 months while studying abroad last year), Bath is probably my favorite place in England. I just love how quaint and historical it feels, not to mention there's lots of cute little shops and markets and good places to eat. I'm sorry you didn't get to go to the costume museum because it's definitely worth the trip - a fascinating look at the history of fashion.
Thanks for sharing your pictures! I was in many of those places (Bath, London, Paris, Florence) just a little over a year ago, and it was so wonderful to be reminded. What did you think of the Uffizi? My friend and I didn't realize that we should make reservations and were unable to get in even after waiting in line for seven hours! And what was your favorite place that you visited?

I didn't get to see the inside. Our one day in Florence happened to be the same day they close all the museums, so we didn't get to go inside the Academia or the Uffuzi. My favorite place was probably London -- it's just so...grand. The parks and buildings were so beautiful. I could just sit there and do nothing and I still would have liked it.
ETA: Bex -- that is so cool! That area of Paris was so beautiful.
