We're in the market for a new digi-cam since ours is like 5 years old and is huge. Consumer Reports this month is all about digital cameras and has some good info. I can't remember which they rated the highest, but I can look it up for you when I get home. The issue is on the newsstands and would probably be worthwhile to pick up.

I've thought about getting a smaller one but I just got it 2 christmases ago and its a 5mp anyways. Its small enough for most hand bags and my bf's cargo shorts so I'm cool right now. I might wait a few more years - like 10mp - and then rebuy.
Get a Canon Powershot Digital Elph. I have the SD450 and it's 5MP and teeny. It will fit in your pocket no problem. I know a few other girls on here have the same one.
